Dr. Lynn Mikel is a graduate of Bastyr University in Naturopathic Medicine. She previously worked 14 years as an Occupational Therapist is hospitals and home care. Dr. Mikel has a Master’s degree in psychology from Antioch University and has done extensive work with death and dying. She received her massage license since 1987 with further training in Therapeutic Touch, Polarity Therapy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. She was involved in Jungian dream therapy for over 20 years, all of which bring a wide range of expertise to her work. She trained in modalities such as Neuromodulation , Emotion Code, the One Command, and applied kinesiology of muscle testing… finding work with the body and subconscious brought the potential to bring about changes much more quickly. Her passion and study integrated physical with emotional and spiritual transformation. Now retired, she is delving to the world of Autism and supporting spelling as a communication and regulation partner. Her background as an O.T. and physician bring a host of tools to a new population of persons and families that are ready for transformation and support. I feel so happy to be guided to new areas for growth and opportunity to be influenced and amazed at what autistic persons have to share and teach us.
